Hi Guys,

 

We've installed the trial and are impressed with the software so far, we currently use Modernbill but due to their lack of support and poor customer service are looking at alternatives.

 

As you will be aware they have implemented the 3d secure policy from today for UK Maestro cards, will your module support this? If so, do you have a rough date?

The 3D Secure support for ProtX will be released in the next couple of days once testing has been completed.

Hello, yes I'm looking at your product for the very same reason. I imagine you'll probably get a lot more UK interest as this problem gathers steam.

 

I've just installed and seen the current protx gateway doesn't offer a UK debit card option, being Maestro which is now taking over from Solo/Switch. This is going to be required...

Yes, whmcs does support uk debit cards with protx.

Ah, am I missing something? In registering a card type, from the drop down I only see:

 

Visa

MasterCard

Discover

American Express

JCB

EnRoute

Diners Club

You have to enable the uk cards under general configuration in your whmcs admin panel. Hope that helps?

Yep that's fixed it thanks...

 

I get credit 'card details you entered were declined', for both Maestro and MasterCard, nothing in the GATEWAY TRANSACTION LOG however (I'm using protx TEST account). Probably to do with this 3D thing (must be all cards not just Maestro). Guess I'll wait for the 3D compatible version release, test out the rest of the system while I'm waiting....

Yes, it is 3D Secure that is causing it to decline. Matt has said the update file will be released very soon, so not long to wait.

We are using this with the latest release 3.2.3 and its working now...

Just be careful to set the VENDOR ID: to your exact Protx admin login username, NOT your Protx secondary login...

 

(That what works for us anyway....)
