pjulian Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Hi, we are just starting to setup WHMCS for our ISP business and are trying to use the ordering system as a type of provisioning system to notify customers about the status of their orders. When we try and create an email template from the orders screen it does not give any mail merge fields relating to orders, only client details and other, so we can't add any merge fields into the email which actually relate to an order. Even when we place a new order and the order confirmation email is sent to the customer, it is missing the order ID and details fields which are supposed ot be in the standard order confirmation email template. Has anybody come across this issue before ? Is there something we are doing wrong or is it perhaps a bug ? All we want to be able to do is enter the order for the service the customer has ordered, have some custom fields to enter things line line numbers, DSL speeds, etc, etc, and then have a couple of status options so that we can then send a simple email to the customer when the status changes so they know what's happening with their orders.
