Has anyone created a WHAT-to-do rather than HOW-to-do guide?

Question

Hi!

I find the WHMCS documentation are excellent. They clearly explain **how** to configure particular features of the software and what each element does. Particularly for relative newcomers though, is there a guide somewhere - either at WHMCS or elsewhere - detailing **what** steps need to be done in order to get a successful WHMCS install up & running (i.e; ready to accept customer orders)? For example; the WHMCS docs for configuring domains are great on **how** to configure the module, but is there a different guide that says **what** needs to be done & why?

Eg; "These are the steps you need to accomplish before you can start taking orders." And under domains it might state "You will need to register with a reseller (eg; Enom, Namecheap, ResellerClub etc.) in order to sell names to customers and configure the appropriate WHMCS module with your reseller account details. Also if your reseller doesn't provide name hosting you should additionally setup an account with a domain host such as and PowerDNS, ClouDNS etc. You should also configure the WHMCS domain registrar module so changes can be made to customers' zone files........"

See the difference? The guide I'm asking about is higher level than the WHMCS configuration documentation and would serve as a useful aid to idiots like me and help prevent overlooking something! ;-)

Thanks,

Steve
