0 PPH
Yes, if they own the license it can be resold to you, but then there is a transfer fee. You can find out more in the knowledgebase. Also, if the support coverage isn't up to date , you would have to pay extra to continue upgrades and tech support I believe. Read this before buying a resold license: http://support.whmcs.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&catid=1&id=36 Edited with KB url
0 Patty
Sorry to dig up such an old thread, but there's someone trying to resell me his owned license he's purchased directly from WHMCS by the end of August. There's no domain or IPs assigned to is yet, he's given up on the idea to start a hosting business and haven't used the license at all. My questions are: - How do I know the license is legit? Is there any way WHMCS can confirm this for me? - What about this transfer fee mentioned above? Is there really one? - I already have one of those licenses from my datacenter. Can I just transfer my domain from that license to this owned one? TIA.
0 Stream101
I would contact the Sales department via ticket and ask the Matt or someone what to ask for so they can verify it.
