datawebcorp
I upgraded to 3.2.1. Was looking forward to the one-page order form. So here I am in the Admin section, I find my client who wants me to add a domain to his account. I click "Add New Order", I select Domain Registration, I enter the domain name, and now the system asks if I'm new or existing client!?!? But wait, I was viewing the client I wanted to add the domain to so why am I being asked!? In any case, I select Existing client and now it wants me to enter my client's password!? WHY? I don't know the client's password so now I have loose the order I just created, go get the client's password, and then start the order over again!? This is silly. If I'm in the Admin section viewing a client and I click Add Order, the system should know to just process the order w/o prompting for "New or Existing" client and their password. That's how it worked in the previous version.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted July 29, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted July 29, 2007 I don't know the client's password so now I have loose the order I just created, go get the client's password, and then start the order over again!? This is silly. No, because you don't have to enter it. Just click continue. And upgrade to 3.2.2 and it won't even show the box requesting it.
datawebcorp
Wow. Fast response, Matt. Thanks. Obviously, there's no way to know I could just click Continue w/o entering the password. But I'll look for 3.2.2. I will upgrade to 3.2.2 later today.
