NO INVOICE FOUND in Gateway Log for any Paypal Subscription

Hi,

 

We need help here.

 

Any new subscription that the client chooses Paypal subscribe and any existing client that is using Paypal subscribe, winds up in the IPN notice in the Gateway Log as NO INVOICE FOUND.

 

When I've sent a ticket in, get the response of:

 

Invoice not found means that your WHMCS cannot find an unpaid invoice for that ID # in the users account.

For subscriptions setup outside WHMCS, you also need to ensure that the subscription ID is associated with the correct product.

I don't know what outside whmcs means when a person goes to our site, orders a subscription for a package, and then chooses Paypal and pays via subscription.
