how to close a customer account but still give him access todomain in reseller club?

Hi,

 

I am closing a customers account for un-paid bills.

He has tranferred his account to an other host but still the domain is under my reseller account.

 

How do I close his account in WHMCS but still have the customer able to access his domain in reseller club.

 

Second question,

 

Does closing a customers account also delete his webspace etc? and also block / delete domain nameserver details?

You wouldn't be able to close the client account until the Domain Name has expired, passed through RGP (if appropriate), and then been deleted

If the account is unpaid then only the hosting can be set to Terminated

I quite often have to wait some time for the Domain Names to expire, and then set the client account to Closed

 

Alternatively, if the customer still wants access to their Domain Name, advise them to setup their own account within Reseller Club or commence transfer out to another provider
