adnauseum Posted July 6, 2012 Share Posted July 6, 2012 Hi, I need help here and hopefully someone has dealt with this before. Originally, our whmcs was installed into /whmcs and then later we renamed /whmcs to /client. This caused a problem for IPN as you can well imagine. Went to paypal and changed the URL to be /client. Now at least there are no more 500 server errors in httpd error log from paypal. But, the kicker is, anyone paying their invoices or even new client signups, the IPN Gateway log in WHMCS shows the IPN and in the right column it displays INVOICE NOT FOUND is they use Paypal. If they use a credit card, it works correctly and there is no issue. I have tried emailing whmcs (they won't answer the freaking phone but their site says the do consults) with this issue but the answer i get looks like someone cp and paste the same thing. I have made numerous tickets with reply emails. The answer is always the same and that is, to put the subscription ID in the clients page. Well I tried that. It did not work. I created a new account for myself using the Paypal subscription and as soon as it brings me back to the invoice, the invoice still shows UNPAID and in WHMCS it shows as pending with payment incomplete. We have some tee'd off clients that get suspended because of whmcs not working nicely with the Paypal IPN. Any help here is greatly appreciated.
