smorkin Posted June 16, 2012 Share Posted June 16, 2012 (edited) Hi - I am wanting to do a development upgrade to the newest branch of 5.X. I thought I would duplicate my DB and then upgrade from lets say whmcs2 directory while my system that is current runs on whmcs for example. What is the best way to test a upgrade dev version without any disruption to your current running version? So in essence, I will be running two versions but on the same domain name during testing. Or do you need to a upgrade over your working install regardless and test results that way? I tried with a different directory and license invalid do to the path. Thank you!
