Sohan
Hey, On the hosting addon, there needs to be an option where clients can upgrade their packages themselves, and get credit and debit depending on the package. Not sure about the abuse though, when the client sees they are only using 10mb and are on a 20gb plan. Would be nice for an option in the admin panel saying Allow clients to upgrade and downgrade or something. In the admin area, when I upgrade a plan, the price will only go up for the next month, but it won't charge them for the rest of this month. Also, there needs to be something like this for resellers!
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted July 25, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted July 25, 2007 Ok, firstly, there is an option to enable/disable it per package in the admin area. Secondly, all upgrade orders have to be submitted from the client area - you can't do it as an addon. And finally, it will work for resellers, it works for any product type. It's not limited to just shared hosting but that is all the automated upgrades work on currently. Matt
Sohan
I can't find an upgrade bit for the custom plans in the client area. Also, when I upgrade a plan, it doesn't charge the difference to an invoice or anything. Also, when will it be automated for resellers?
