Nominet .UK Web/Email forwarding addon

Hi,

We recently picked up a company, which had a very messy custom writen billing system.

As part of the system clients were offered web and email forwarding on .co.uk domains.

We are a nominet registrar, and obviously this functionality is not built to allow for web forwarding/email forwarding.

Have any one yet developed such an addin to allow this functionality?

I was thinking an addin which hooks into a Cpanel account (details hidden beind the addin) which simply sets up and edits domain and email forwarders.

Is it something other nominet members are after? Would anyone else fancy chipping in to get it developed?

Thanks

Robert.

That should be easy enough to implement, as you appear to be running WHM/cPanel

Create the relevant packages within WHM

Create the product within WHMCS

Transfer the existing clients with those products you created above

The main issue within cPanel is creating a package where the customer does not have FTP access / email only

Yeah I could do that, but dont really want a package per .UK domain, what im looking to replicate is ENOM's DNS Management, Email and Web Forwarding. However rather than build an entire module within WHMCS todo it.

It would be easier to have a module, which configured an account within Cpanel, parking all "email/web forward" domains on 1 account and allowing clients to manage it from the billing system as you with with Enom
