Anubianhost
New to WHMCS here. I came from ClientExec 4.4.1 and used the importer. It did a fine job but missed a few things. I have several customers who used A PayPal Subscription. On the admin side is there A way for us to link those subscriptions back up or do I need to cancel all of them and ask the customer to set it back up when the next invoice drops? I'm just not seeing any options on the admin side to manage a subscription payment. Thanks!
laszlof
Well, technically you could link them back up. But the issue you're going to run into is the IPN for the subscription is going to be linked to your old billing system. A while back, I did a migration from modernbill to WHMCS. We ran into the same issue. The solution for it was to create a script or htaccess rule that forwarded requests to the old IPN url to the one in WHMCS. Of course, you'll need to make sure all the subscription id's are in the database. An easier solution is to just cancel all the subscriptions and have your users set them up again.
Anubianhost
Thank you! That's what I was figuring. I only have a handful so I will just cancel them all and ask the user to set them back up. I just hate to inconvenience the customer

Unfortunately I had somewhere to the tune of 5K subscriptions to deal with, so we opted to build a system to forward the IPN notifications to WHMCS.
