Question about multiple servers

I am going to purchase and start using WHMCS in a few days here. It will be installed on a dedicated server, for the sake of this post we will call it Server 1. Now say I went to purchase another dedicated server from another company (Server 2). Server 2 would have SolusVM installed, for hosting VPS's on. To add that server in my WHMCS on Server 1, would Server 2 need to also have WHMCS?

No, the second server would not require WHMCS on it - your install of WHMCS will control all servers (depending on setup) for creating accounts etc.

You can add extra servers, no extra licence needed.
