seperating webhosting package from domain name

Initially and even now as things stand i have webhosting packages as well as domain name pruchases setup so they interact with each other.

please anmoltech.net -- place an order

Now i have decided instead to go with

domains.anmoltech.net/

now the question is :

how do i present to the customer the way i had things before in the order page?

initially customer is presented a question do you have a domain already or do you want to buy one now etc.

Now if customer wants to buy domain how do i get the customer over to domains.anmoltech.net/ and then back again to the hosting package purchase on whmcs?

thanks

You won't be able to do that in any sort of automated process.

Matt

is it possible then to do:

either remove the part where the customer is asked do you want a new domain in the purchasing of hosting packages.

or

is that done automatically if i were to remove selling domains via whmcs?

basically i want to sell hosting packages only via whmcs and want no mention of domain sales questions to the customer.

for the domains -- i will simply link to supesite from my webpages

thanks Matt ( more questions to come :-)

Yes, you could edit the order form templates and remove those options (or you can do that from the admin area in Config > General Config > Domains and only allow the use own domain option), and then add a link into your domains subdomain somewhere.

Basically u are saying that somewhere in this area i need to put code that when the user wants to register a new domain he should be forwarded to

"domains.anmoltech.net"/ and instead of making things more complicated i can just put a message for the user to go back to the anmoltech.net site to complete his webhosting package purchase.

i just want to know if i understood what you said .

thanks\
