WHMCS CEO Matt Posted November 28, 2007 Author WHMCS CEO Share Posted November 28, 2007 This feature will now be included in the V3.5 release next month. As you will see in the attached screenshot, a client is able to add multiple contacts and select which of the types of emails they should receive - General, Product, Domain, Invoice and/or Support. handsonwebhosting
Well I hunted around the forums here for an answer, and read this entire thread and it seems to be the one most relevant to my issue I'm using 3.5 with the new contacts - nice work! From what I can gather, the multiple contacts will receive copies of various things - billing support etc. The issue I have is that we deal with many webmasters that require tech support. At this time the OWNER of the account must open a support ticket, and then the tech contact (webmaster) gets a copy of the ticket and can update to that ticket based on the link provided etc. From what I'm seeing, there's no way for the individual webmaster to log in to make a new ticket. We don't use the PIPE Parse - all tickets must be submitted and replied to online. Are there plans to allow the secondary contacts to log in to create tickets also, or is that thrown out the window?
