rm249
Hello, I have been using WHMCS for a while now and recently I noticed that for whatever reason... the General Configuration values are continuously cleared at random... I login, set the general config settings, then go back to admin homepage, go to View Clients, then see a MySQL error, then I go back to general configuration and all of the values are blank. I have tried and tried by reinstalling WHMCS versions 3.1.0, 3.1.1, and 3.1.2... all have this problem for me. Register globals is turned on globally, safe mode is off.... I can not figure out what is wrong at all.. I have tried nearly everything. Because of this it is also causing ordering to be messed up, and showing this (because it can not get what type of ordering menu to show): ----- Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "order-stepone.tpl" in /home/dynatech/public_html/system/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1095 Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "order-stepone.tpl" in /home/dynatech/public_html/system/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1095 ----- My server has cPanel 11. Any help/suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ryan
trine
for the smarty errors ... make sure your templates_c folder exists and is writeable. also make sure that the default templates exist, and that the default template set is specified in your setup.
SpookedOut
rm249: That's odd. I experienced this issue about 2 days ago. I have put It down to the database.
rm249
Ya... @trine: The templates_c folder is writable and it is using the default WHMCS template.... That's why I thought this was akward... I was able to get it to retain the configuration somehow (after so many times of re-typing in all the config). For now, I am just going to avoid touching anything in the general configuration Thanks, Ryan
rm249
Now its even more screwed up, any orders that are placed, the invoices are not properly linked to the orders, its just a mess at the moment. I hope there is a fix soon. Ryan
SpookedOut
It's not a WHMCS error. It's most probably related to the MySQL db.
