is it worth offering domains to clients - how much hassle is it?

I offer web design services and provide hosting as well so that its one less thing for the client to think about. I am still trying to work out if the benefit of deasling with their domain as well outweighs the hassle (if any)

Its great to offer the complete service but what does it involve to keep these domains managed with WHMCS?

For instance what happens if the client wants to leave and wants the domain transfered, do i have to do anything or can they manage it with some instructions?

What if I have 100+ clients and decide to wrap my business up, what kind of work does it involve handing back registrar details and all that.

I suppose I'm just confused as to what it means to allow clients to register/transfer domains through my WHMCS

Part of me just wants to keep it simple and say to them that I will set up an account for them for each project so that they have 100% responsibility

Can some one tell me more about whats involved/responsibilities?

Thank you

There are various methods used for reselling

The majority of Domain Name resellers operate a deposit and discounted charges scheme

This is probably the method used by your existing provider

You can then setup WHMCS to communicate with this reseller account, see the Settings within WHMCS and Domain Name registar settings
