Modifying Date Format in Invoices

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I sell internationally using one installation of WHMCS and I have a slight problem with date formats.

My customers are currently split 50/50 between the UK and USA - two countries which have different date formats.

What I'd like to be able to do in my invoices is use the date format MMM-DD-YY but I can't work out how to do it.

I keep running up against problems because people in the UK don't know whether 03/04/12 means March 4th, 2012 or the 3rd of April 2012.

If I can have it print as Mar-04-12, it would solve a whole load of problems with domains expiring because the client read the date wrong!

Anyone know how to change it in the invoices?

Yes, this is a known issue and I keep running into this on forums

It would be helpful if the date format was based on the client country rather than the system
