ozmo
I am moving my WHMCS domain and eventually our client sites to a new dedicated server due to major issues with my current provider and possibly some errors with my WHMCS install. (PHP session errors) So I'm wondering.... Should I move my entire site manually and then reconfigure the WHMCS install to the new location i.e. IP address, crons etc. Or would it be better start fresh? If the latter is the way to go how can I save out all client and account info from the current install to inject (so to speak) back into the new install? Any advice would be great. Thanks, Rob
DataHosts
Rob, Does your current provider and future provider use CPanel? If so you can transfer all accounts if you have root password. This would save a great deal of time, and then you would just need to reissue the license for WHMCS. If not then I would suggest manually as it will save time in the end.
ozmo
I am moving from Plesk 8.1 to Ensim Pro X. So I guess I'll manually move everything and reconfigure on the new server. Thanks datahosts.

Hey, You can export the MySQL database and then insert into MySQL. Doesn't matter what control panel you are using, so you can keep your current clients, invoices, products, etc... Adam
Ummm... what the heck was I thinking. Thanks for the slap Adam Hey, No problem. Don't forget to re-issue your license via WHMCS.com and to change your product URL in the Admin Area. From, Adam
