epode
Hi, To view the Server Status page you need to be logged in. We would like to know how to make the Server Status page available to visitors even if they are NOT logged in. Thanks in advance.
epode
As an update ... I guess the root "serverstatus.php" file is where it is set to require that a user be logged in before he can view that page however, this file is encoded so we couldn't edit it. We managed to get around this simply by creating a new "serverstatus.php" file as per the instructions here ... http://docs.whmcs.com/Creating_Pages We can now decide what information on this page will only be available if a user is logged in.
epode
Actually. That solution didn't allow the page content to perform properly. We're still looking for a way to make this page available to the public.
m8internet
Mine is available to the public, no need to login to Client Area I have not had to make any changes, also I cannot find any settings for this However, check Setup -> Servers and that the servers are showing ticks under the Status You may need to edit the serverstatus.tpl file I had to do this for the phpinfo link to operate correctly I have set Network Issues to require Login, with the General Settings -> Support section Is this the one you are trying to open to all visitors? epode
Thanks. I should have mentioned that we're running the latest v5 and using the 'cart' template. What version of WHMCS are you running? Which template are you using?
epode
Agh! We had it set to 'require login' but changing that has fixed it. It's easy when you know what you're doing. Thank you very much.
m8internet
What version of WHMCS are you running?Which template are you using? I am still running 4.5.2 as I am waiting until 5.0 becomes more stable (still too many issues and reports of problems for me) Looks like I am running the Portal template
disgruntled
Agh! We had it set to 'require login' but changing that has fixed it. It's easy when you know what you're doing. Thank you very much. Clarification: setup > general > support tab its next to last checkbox in my v5 installation,
