WebEssex
From my understanding, if we create a Product/Service on WHMCS for hosting on cPanel, and the package does not exist on WHM it will still create the package for the customers account with the same attributes we set e.g. MySQL databases, bandwidth limitations etc. However, I cannot see an easy way for us to globally update these packages through WHMCS. E.g. if in 6 months we decide to increase our customers bandwidth for all customers on a package, the values we set in the package are not updated for previous customers who were on this package, only newly created ones. Ideally we want it to be synced between WHMCS and WHM so effectively we rarely need to login to the root of our WHM. Is this possible? Am I missing something? Seems a shame that there isn't tighter integration between WHM & WHMCS...
m8internet
No, that sounds correct and I have always had to do this That is part of the problem with customers who want customised accounts However, the majority have the template products/services and they can upgrade/downgrade from the others available, and no intervention is required As an example, a customer wants to add an additional 100MB of webspace, then you have no choice but to complete this in WHM The record remains in WHMCS When completed remember to complete the Item to Do List
