cmedeiros
Hello, I´m building some custom reports to measure the total income, but i´m not understanding the relation between tblinvoiceis and tblaccount. Could someone please explain to me the amountin and amountout of tblaccount and why the sum of tblinvoices.total not always match the sum of tblaccount.amountin? thanks
m8internet
Are you using PayPal or any other merchant service where fees are applied? If so, these are decucted I had a terrible time trying to work out the difference between income and invoices, as some had PayPal fees whilst some transactions did not , further complicated when refunds were made as the original PayPal fee remained in place I stopped using WHMCS for accounting purposes as a result
cmedeiros
Hi, thanks for your reply. I also use PayPal, but my big problem is to match the sum of all values received/generated by plan. If I don´t detail it into plans, I get the correct value, when I try to pull the data by plan, it always mismatch.
m8internet
Looks like you are not taking the PayPal fees into account Remember, income is NOT turnover You get your turnover from bank accounts and PayPal accounts WHMCS then uses the net turnover after fees, hence why it is termed as income As above, the main issue I have is when a refund is processed as the fee is reversed, but WHMCS does not correct for this This means I have to manually complete this within the accounts
