direct cart Affiliate link

i am not a whmcs webmaster but i have to use Whmcs affiliate system to promote a hosting service (they suggest me to ask here)

 

my problem is related to create a direct cart link with affiliate ID parsing

 

in Affiliate/Wiki i read this

It is possible to link directly to the order form for a specific product. To do this, simply append &pid=x to the end of the [AffiliateLinkCode] where x is replaced by the ID of the product.

in my case affiliate link is

https://xxxxxxxx.net/portal/*?aff=123456

 

while order link is

https://xxxxxxxxx.net/portal/cart.php?a=add&pid=1

 

i did try to proceed with this link

https://xxxxxxxx.net/portal/*?aff=123456&pid=1

do not work

 

second method:

https://xxxxxxxx.net/portal/*?aff=123456&add&pid=1

do not work

 

third method:

https://xxxxx.net/portal/*?a=add&pid=1&aff=123456

it leave me at cart order BUT Affiliate ID is NOT at very beginning of code, so my questions is:

this code will parse correctly the affiliate link?
