K Ashok
I've a .com domain name registered in ENOM. I'm using WHMCS billing and through the admin panel, I can see that 'Nameserver 1' and 'Nameserver 2' are updated in the system. But now, I found something new in Nameserver 3 field. In the Nameserver 3 field I find the value 'True'. What's that ? Please can someone let me know the reason behind this ?
scurrell
But now, I found something new in Nameserver 3 field. In the Nameserver 3 field I find the value 'True'. What's that ? Please can someone let me know the reason behind this ? We're getting exactly the same thing - except sometimes it's "False" It seems to have started a few days ago. Nameservers are displayed as normal at Enom, so I suspect it's something to do with the API.
K Ashok
Yes, the nameserver's can be updated easily through the registrar panel. But something called >> True or False is reflecting in the Nameserver 3 field. Even if we update the DNS from client area panel then it gives same error. I tried to remove the 'True' from the field but no gain.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted November 4, 2011 WHMCS CEO Share Posted November 4, 2011 We're currently consulting with Enom regarding this. They've added a new field to their API responses that starts with the same keyword - "DNS" - as the nameservers do which is what's leading to the problem. Either they'll have to change the name of that new field, or we'll have to issue a patch. Will provide a further update shortly.
