Lethy
Hi everyone, I'm running a WHMCS trial and I have a server set up using the plesk reseller module. When I use the option for it to create an account, it tells me the account has been created successfully. However, when I check it from within plesk the account is not there. I've tested creating the account from within plesk and I don't get any errors such as it wanting to enable features, such as coldfusion, which are not installed. I also copy/pasted the domain template name to ensure no it's not due to a typo, but it still doesn't create the account. Any ideas/help?

Lethy
Well I have a reseller account (yes I'm using the pleskreseller module). It's currently set to allow me to have unlimited domains. I can create domains perfectly fine within Plesk.
skshost
You need to be admin of Plesk for WHMCS to auto provision the account. So you either need a VPS or dedicated server, or to use cPanel. Tough luck!
Lethy
Seriously? What is the use of this pleskreseller module WHMCS have provided me to use instead of the 'plesk' module (which requires plesk admin access)?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted June 19, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted June 19, 2007 Seriously? What is the use of this pleskreseller module WHMCS have provided me to use instead of the 'plesk' module (which requires plesk admin access)? No, skshost is incorrect, you don't need admin access. If you are a paying customer, open a ticket. This isn't the sort of issue that others will be able to help with as you aren't getting any error message. skshost
That's odd, you told me this before I started using WHMCS. Seriously? What is the use of this pleskreseller module WHMCS have provided me to use instead of the 'plesk' module (which requires plesk admin access)? No, skshost is incorrect, you don't need admin access. If you are a paying customer, open a ticket. This isn't the sort of issue that others will be able to help with as you aren't getting any error message. adam_leerox
Just wondering if anything was fixed with this? I am running a trial account too and am having the same issue. Once I get this working I am happy to purchase but I need to get the trial working first. Cheers!

The API access for my account in Plesk was not enabled.
