Subscription Invoice Receipts

Hello,

 

I have a question regarding the Subscription Invoice Receipts feature under the General Configuration for WHMCS.

 

When checked does the Invoice get sent out to the customer, or is it just generated and stored under the Invoices tab for that customer?

 

And if it does get sent out is there a way to just have it generate and then get stored in the Invoices tab, so that the customer can view the invoice later if they log in to WHMCS?

It does indeed get generated and sent and stored in the normal way. Viewable on the invoices tab just like all other invoices.

I was wondering the same thing. I was wondering if the customer would receive an invoice plus the Subscription Payment Confirmation email template.

 

So I'm assuming that the customer would get an invoice if Subscription Invoice Receipts was ticked under the General Configuration, but if it was unticked the customer would get the Subscription Payment Confirmation email template instead.

 

 

It would be nice if this was possible:

 

The invoice gets generated, but it is not sent to the customer (customer can only view it in their whmcs account). The Subscription Payment Confirmation email gets sent out.
