serverprodigy
This is a huge source of problems for our company. WHMCS will not cancel product add ons when a product is canceled. Currently, this has to be done manually. Because our support staff consistently cannot be trained to do this -and- the sales staff cannot deal with angry emails from ex clients still being billed for add ons They use the product category for add ons. This creates all kinds of issues due to extra IPs being listed just like another server in WHMCS, etc, etc. There is no reason NOT to automatically cancel add ons when they are assigned to a product. They are "add ons" - this means they are things which cannot be used without the product they are assigned to. Things like - extra IPs, control panels, software, admin services - if the product is canceled the add on is no longer valid. If people are using the add on category for products which can stand alone then they are not using it correctly - those would be "products", not add ons. When a client or admin cancels a service all the add ons assigned to that product should also be terminated, suspended or canceled. Please fix this.
m8internet
That sounds like a setup and configuration issue, as mine work correctly and as expected Once the product is set to cancelled (by the customer) or terminated, then no further invoices relating to that product are sent
