jimpic
Has anyone been successfull using OVH as registrar? In WHMCS: - I input my login and password in the form (ovh registrar) - disabled test mode to make real tests - selected OVH in the domain name settings (for all tld) In ovh manager: - I enabled the fidelity space (Espace fidélité) - I have enough points to allow new domains to be paid with these points When I test the system buying a new domain, everything is fine (registration, payment, account creation, mail, etc) but the domain is not created in OVH. Just as if there was no connexion to the registrar. Anyone can explain what I missed to make this work?
jimpic
I also get a blank page with this error (below) when I try to access this page: ..../admin/clientsdomains.php?userid=3&domainid=7 (when order are accepted, paid) When orders arn't yet accepted, the page displays correctly. Fatal error: Class 'SoapClient' not found in /home/user/public_html/modules/registrars/ovh/ovh.php on line 0 Same error on the client side, when trying to access: ...domain.tld/clientarea.php?action=domaindetails

jimpic
I had two different answers from whmcs and ovh: OVH support said: Après vérification WHMCS ne fonctionne pas avec la création de domaine chez OVH. (After checking, whmcs doesn't work with domain creation at ovh) Then WHMCS support said: I don't know why they would have told you that - I guess some of their staff aren't very knowledgable on the topic. The URL being connected to is https://www.ovh.com/soapi/soapi-re-1.14.wsdl so there's no special ports involved, just port 443 for an SSL connection using the soap protocol so as long as you have SOAP and OpenSSL compiled into the PHP build on your server, and no firewall or anything similar blocking connections, then it should be fine. Not really any other possible causes other than something server side blocking the connection as like you say, other users have it working with the same code just fine. So it should work but it doesn't. OVH never replied to further email on that issue. Apparenttly they just don't care.
