ddenev
Does WHMCS provide a way to add custom payment gateways? I am in Bulgaria and need to process payments with our local PGs. Thank you.

ddenev
Thank you. I have another question There is a config variable in the gateway module file: $GATEWAYMODULE["#####type"]="Invoices"; What is the difference between Invoices and Subscriptions types? Also, is there a way to process the responses returned by the payment gateway?
SpookedOut
Let's use PayPal for this particular scenario. For shared web hosting say, which is $11 a month. Invoices = You pay manually, $11 a month. This particular method, is for those of you who like to pay manually without having the monies deducted automatically. Subscriptions = The monies in this case which is $11, is automatically deducted from your PayPal account. This is usually the most popular chosen method used by many web hosting companies as it's automatic and instant.
ddenev
Thank you. But what is the difference from WHMCS point of view. I mean do I have to follow different logic in either cases? And one more question - how can I process responses from the payment gateway with the API? Is it possible? Thank you.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted June 11, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted June 11, 2007 Yes, you would need to follow different logic. Just stick to using Invoices. And refer to the manual for info on how to use the API to mark an invoice paid. Matt
