Replacing website totally with WHMCS

suredata

Question

Hi Guys,

Just trying to get my head around this product. A couple of points to consider first:

  • We don't sell domains
  • We have 4 bespoke products based on monthly invoices
  • We want to be able to quickly change 'brochureware'

So the questions...

  1. Can the WHMCS installation be the homepage as a brochureware page?
  2. Can the homepage be integrated with a CMS or a blog?
  3. Can the admin section be hidden i.e. a /admin url etc?
  4. How much effort is it to extend the invoicing to use APIs from other products to retrieve usage details etc?
  5. The WHMCS team has indicated that they only need FTP access to install WHMCS on our new server. Really? Does anything need to be pre-installed?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. In fact, we have done it here:

https://www.implitech.net/

As you can see, WHMCS is installed on the actuall domain, and is not in a directory. Now, we have a few extra pages, but you can set your index.php to redirect directly to the shopping cart.

Thanks for the link. BTW, I think the 'Form $3.95 / Month" image should read "From"?
