WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 19, 2011 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 19, 2011 The WHMCS Design Competition The Aim: To come up with a new, fresh, modern design for the WHMCS client area to be included as an additional included template option The Prizes: The chosen design gets $1000 USD + Runner Up Prizes of $100 available for individual ideas/elements that get taken up & used from other submissions The Details: There are no constraints for it to look like the existing templates, this should be a completely new design. So in addition to the customised header/footer, we are expecting the winning design to also provide a theme for internal client area pages (layouts, sub-navigation, table/button styling, etc…) Your design may make use of functionality not yet present in WHMCS, and should make use of javascript/jquery where appropriate. It is important that whatever design you come up with, can easily be customised and integrated into users own website designs (typically header/footer customisations) – so in other words the internal pages should work without the header/footer. It is also required for the design to work with all existing order form templates and styles. Ownership of a design/idea will be determined by the order submissions are made. And any third party elements used within a design (javascript classes, images, etc…) must have proven rights for use within a commercial script. Entries: Submissions can be posted here on the forums directly (preferred) @ http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=40757 or submitted privately to competition@whmcs.com We recommend submissions consist of both a homepage, client area homepage and client area sub-page The deadline for all submissions is Sunday 4th September 2011. At that point a shortlist will be created, and a poll setup for users to vote on their favourite. A winner will then be chosen by Friday 9th September. WHMCS V4.6 will then be released, including the new design, later in September.
