Hello all,

i purchased WHMCS license from a forum. the user said he was selling the valid license but today i check my site license it shows illegal

now the main problem is here. i want to buy a legal WHMCS license now but i have the question:

i have some clients so if i re-install WHMCS I'll loose data so what i should do now?

please help me i want to become legal

I dont think you would have to reinstalll, your only changing the key, ask WHMCS for help, they will get you fixed up..

Correct, just get new (legal) license and input the key in your admin area - all sorted.

You can do a few things with this, if you paid via paypal you can file a dispute and get your money back as long as you provide correct documentation to the paypal dispute team. You can also, I would think, contact the WHMCS sales team about this issue and see if they can further assist you.

 

But, you would only buy from a verified reseller or the WHMCS site itself. Its better to be safe than sorry.

This is one of the issues, you see all the time people trying to sell "cheap" licenses on different forums, and most of the time it ends up with the purchaser complaining that they got ripped off.

 

Safest way to purchase is through WHMCS or one of their reseller channels.
