rbro
Under manage products and services-> server settings, if I check off "Frontpage Extensions" tick to grant access, will that automatically install FP extensions into that account or simply allow the client to install them from cpanelif he wishes?
trine
That will try to set up the account with FP. The client should also be able to install, reinstall and remove the FP in CPanel, if you enable it in their CPanel feature list. You may want to note that FP for linux is nearing it's end of life. Try not to offer it if you can.

Is this just a Microsoft wants to control the world thing? FP is still pretty popular (isn't it?) and I'm guessing Linux is still the number one OS for webservers, no?
trine
hsphere and a few other panels have already disactivated mod_frontpage last year. cpanel may do so too, but I forget what their official comment was. see http://www.rtr.com/fpsupport/
