demo
Hi I have an issue that has developed. When a client opens a ticket a blank email is sent to them instead of the normal contents. This is the same when a response from the support team is given, the clients email is blank. The one sent to admin/support is working normally. The clients email contains only the site logo and with the subject: no subject. No whmcs files have recently been edited so what is the issue? (version 4.4.2) Anyone know? WHMCS CEO Matt Posted July 22, 2011 WHMCS CEO Share Posted July 22, 2011 Check to ensure that you don't have any syntax errors in the support related email templates in Setup > Email Templates and providing you don't, then try deleting all the existing template cache files from the templates_c folder and ensure it's still CHMOD 777 writeable then try it again. kadata
Thanks for posting that info! We had a very similar problem, where new email templates would send empty messages, including the subject line. Your help led us to find that the server hosting the WHMCS installation was over storage quota and not allowing the application to compile the new template to the templates_c folder. With a little system housekeeping the templates began to work as designed!
