Recurring Billing/Auto Renewals

Does whmcs have the ablity for recurring/subscription billing ?

 

What i need to know is that if the client wishes and selects that the hosting or domain accounts he has be automatically billed for every month,year etc ,will WHMCS be abel to handel the auto renewals.

 

i understand that this also depends on the merchant account/payment gateway we have ,If WHMCS handels this i will like to know which all Payment Gateways are supported and will handel this along with WHMCS.

Yes WHMCS does use recurring/subscription billing if you want it enabled. I think it only works with PayPal - however I'm not sure on this. But WHMCS does offer this option.

Any real merchant account with an automated gateway should work too.

Yes, if using a merchant account the clients card will be automatically charged by WHMCS when it is due each month. PayPal Subscriptions is also an option as Adam suggested.
