Nexxterra Posted June 27, 2011 Share Posted June 27, 2011 All of my research with many types of clients has overwhelmingly proven that the client, new or old would first choose a domain name, then their hosting pkg. However the script clearly places the Hosting pkg prior to the domain name, this actually causes some confusion and contributes to them leaving the sale hanging.... However if the perfect domain name is already in their cart, they tend to not abandon the sale as fast. I would like to change the order without messing with something that I will have to re-do every upgrade for the foreseeable future. veracityit Posted June 29, 2011 Share Posted June 29, 2011 I implement both to keep everyone happy. on my main page i have a domain lookup and i have a seperate page for domain plans. In your WHMCS admin, goto Utilities -> Integration code. veracityit Posted June 29, 2011 Share Posted June 29, 2011 furthermore you could just create a link that was: http://www.nexxterra.com/hosting/cart.php?a=add&domain=register either is no real solution it just allows the user to skip to the seccond step of the order, eventially they will have to go back to step 1.
