Hello,

I have just stumbled across whmcs and have a couple questions.

 

I have a hosting reseller account with hostgator and am looking for the ability to sell domain names on my site and have them automatically set to my nameservers, that will allow me to simply create the hosting account and should be live when the name propogates(although I have a feeling this process could be improved upon using whmcs).

 

I really just want to streamline the domain name and hosting setup process. I think this is what I am looking for but could use some input.

 

My questions are:

Will this work as I intend?

Will I still need to create an Enom reseller account?

Does this handle the Enom API situation or will I have to code that?

WHMCS supports Enom, so if you decide to use it, you can setup WHMCS to auto regsiter after payment, and set your default nameservers upon registration.

 

So if you want to sell domains, you will need a domain reseller account, such as Enom or Reseller Club (both of which come free with your WHMCS licence).
