thriftystudio
Before I submit a ticket, I would like to request assistance from the community as it's likely this is an error I caused myself somehow. I searched the whmcs documentation as well as here on the forums and did not find a fix for this particular problem. I upgraded my WHMCS taking the following steps: - Made a backup of the database. - Downloaded the new script via the client area - Unzipped the file to my local pc. - Uploaded the files to my host server via Filezilla. - Visited my admin page and ran the automated upgrade script. - Deleted the /install folder and it's contents from the server. I am receiving my nightly Cron Job Activity emails from cPanel with no errors noted in the standard email. However, I am also receiving a second email with the following: (to save space I'll just tell you how many times the line repeats) Cron Daemon to me php: /opt/xml2/lib/libxml2.so.2: no version information available (required by php) (repeats 15 times) php: /opt/xml2/lib/libxml2.so.2: no version information available (required by /opt/xslt/lib/libexslt.so.0) (repeats twice) php: /opt/xml2/lib/libxml2.so.2: no version information available (required by /opt/xslt/lib/libxslt.so.1) (repeats 10 times) I have verified that my two cron scripts are accurate (main cro and enom cron) In addition, I am receiving errors when attempting to open support tickets via email. I send an email from my email client from an email address not listed as any admins or support departments but is listed under a test client name. I send this email to an email address listed as a support department contact. The test client receives a support ticket id and auto response e-mail. The support ticket is entered into the whmcs properly. However, the "client" also receives a second email with the following: (skipping the headers and all that jazz, just showing the errors to save space) (also, hiding the cPanel account name and email address for security) Mail Delivery System to (client) ------ pipe to |/home/[hidden]/public_html/clients/pipe/pipe.php generated by [hidden] ------ /usr/local/bin/php: /opt/xml2/lib/libxml2.so.2: no version information available (required by /usr/local/bin/php) (repeats 15 times) /usr/local/bin/php: /opt/xml2/lib/libxml2.so.2: no version information available (required by /opt/xslt/lib/libexslt.so.0) (repeats twice) /usr/local/bin/php: /opt/xml2/lib/libxml2.so.2: no version information available (required by /opt/xslt/lib/libxslt.so.1) (repeats 10 times) ############# Obviously I see a pattern here and realize they're connected somehow but I just don't understand what the error is trying to tell me. I don't mind the spam but of course would like to fix any errors. However, a client getting a mail delivery error is definitely not a good thing. So if you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
0100110101001000
I get the same errors since that upgrade for 4.4.2. I have clients telling me they get an undeliverable email failure although I get the tickets.
thriftystudio
I contacted WHMCS support about this issue and they suggested it was related to an error in the PHP configuration on my server. I had to contact my server admin to fix this in the server's master php.ini file. So far, my clients are no longer getting the error email but I'll post a note if I still get the cron errors at midnight. WHMCS Support was great and super quick in replying. *thumbs up*
