How to not show invoices before a certain date

I don't know if what I'm trying to do is the best way to do it...

anyway, some business data are changed, and I need to modify them in the general settings. so all the invoices (evene the ones created before this change) will be modified.

 

I was thinking about inserting this in invoicepdf and viewinvoice:

{if invoice date before "date"}

show old invoice

{else}

new invoice

{/if}

 

Is that possible?

can you give me a hint on how to write the else if code, I'm not a programmer.
