misanthrope
Hi, I wonder if it is possible to change the minimal length of a free subdomain name? Whenever I choose to use a free subdomain option it only allows me not less than 3 symbols subdomain names (e.g. 123.mydomain.tld, but 12.mydomain.tld returns as "The domain you entered is not valid"). Creating 1 or 2 symbols subdomain via Cpanel is not a problem, but WHMCS doesn't allow it for some reason. I have googled it and looked through the forum posts, but to no avail. Adding .mydomain.tld to Domain Pricing and [$DomainMinLengthRestrictions[".mydomain.tld"] = 1; $DomainMaxLengthRestrictions[".mydomin.tld"] = 63] to configuration.php certainly is a workaround (ref. http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=4380&highlight=subwhois.php). But it doesn't automatically create a chosen subdomain as there's obviously no registrar associated with that TLD - .mydomain.tld (just email option) and regular way of automatically creating a free subdomain doesn't apply here. My question is how to customize a free subdomain name length restriction (or how to enable automatic subdomain creation without any registrar)? Also another question - is it possible to reserve certain free subdomain names without actually registering them in a system (e.g. admin.mysubdomain.tld, support.mydomain.tld etc.)?
