VicToMeyeZR
I don't know if this is a WHMCS bug, or a paypal bug, because we have never had an issue, till just the last month's new signups. We have all of our products set to pro-rated, to bill on the 1st of the month. One customer: signed up on the 15th, and was billed in our system for $12.48, which would be correct. (full amount $24.95). Paypal invoiced him for the full $24.95 and set his subscription re-occurring date to the 15th, not the first. Second customer: Signed up for completely different product on the 11th. Full price is $6.95 and was billed in WHMCS for $4.63. PayPal invoiced and set the subscription to $6.95 and on the 11th. I have verified with PayPal account, that they were in fact invoiced for the full amount, despite the invoice in our system being lower. This appeared to only happen with the subscription. Has their subscription API changed, or is their system screwed up, or is WHMCS. I have no way of verifying what was actually sent from WHMCS. Testing maybe? VicToMeyeZR
ok, just had one today also. customer signed up today 25th. was billed correctly in WHMCS($3.54). $2.95 is regular price and the bill was set to renew on Jun 01, paypal billed $2.95 and set the renewal to the 25th, and the customer had to log in twice to pay the full amount... Something seriously is wrong with one end or the other..
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted April 25, 2011 WHMCS CEO Share Posted April 25, 2011 Make sure you haven't enabled "Modify Subscriptions" in Setup > Payment Gateways under the PayPal module. PayPal's system ignores any trial periods when the modify option is enabled so it can't be used with prorata.
