Cannot Login to WHMCS Admin Site

I cannot login to my WHMCS Admin site even using the correct username and password. It just got loading and return to Login Page again without error, try to use wrong password and it will promt that popular login failed: "Login Failed. Please Try Again. Your IP has been logged and admins notified of this failed login attempt. "--- it works well to prompt you that you are using wrong password, but hey, when using the correct credentials, just refreshing the page and won't let you log in?

 

Actions Taken: Clear all DNS Cache and all history both firefox and IE8, flush the DNS also using ipconfig /flushdns in run utility. Turn off Firewall and Antivirus program, shutdown the Laptop for 8 hours together with the unplug and turned off router and turn off fiber optic box internet connection and went to sleep after all failed attempts. Got wake up and still same issues, "after pressing login, the page will just reload and back to login page" without error prompt.

Try to access the login page with other four computer in the household and Bang! same issues. I tried with a MAC laptop using safari, still same issues.

 

Tried to access via proxy site https://pagewash.com and hey, It works! I can login and able to change the configurations. I know its not secured using proxy site so I changed my password.

Contacted WHMCS via Trouble Ticket and they said in their side they can login with the correct credentials, I called my friend in other country and give them the access, they said they can login also without my issues that encountered, WHMCS support told me it is a local issues only and they cannot do anything.

I found an alternative solution but will cost me much, and I'm doubting if I will invest for it as I'm just a starting this reseller business, I contacted my Hosting provider to setup a temporary HTTPS version of my domain and it really work with no problem, I can login WHMCS admin site using the https link, but once turn off and try with the http link, again it won't let me in.

 

So I decided to Apply for an SSL and the requirement is a new Dedicated IP for my domain, it requires maximum 4 hours for them to install Dedicated IP and for it to propagate, after they informed me that dedicated IP is finish, I suppose to buy an SSL now, but wait, I tried to login the WHMCS Admin site, and viola!! I can login now! so I did not continue purchasing SSL as it cost me additional money, I just pay for a dedicated IP,,,the story did not end in a happy ending like most of the fairy tales.

After being contented with the basic configuration, domain and administrative role settings, I browse my client area site and very happy that everthing works well--So what will the happy genius guy do in this situation?-of course I backed up everything in my CPANEL both partial and full ...

Here comes the Battle! I want my site to be secured w/o spending money, as reading the wikis in WHMCS there is a practical solution like renaming the admin folder. I'm thinking, maybe if after I change the admin folder, my previous deli-ma will come back..but I need to go on, will I'm prepared enough as I have a backup! I did not proceed yet for renaming the admin folder of whmcs, I was thinking if my backup is reliable(This is my Greatest mistake! I just hope I can reverse it back) I again now made my 3rd backup aside from cpanel full and partial backup in home dir, I downloaded my public_html via ftp and again downloaded the whmcs folder as redundant download just to make it sure.

Now it's time to test all my Backup and secure the site by renaming the admin folder! I dont know what happens why I suddenly delete the WHMCS folder and try to make a new install of entire WHMCS, instead of just renaming the admin folder, anyway I cannot undo that one and thats the final trigger point of my issues, After the installation I automatically go to WHMCS admin folder (with new name now of course) and FACED my greatest FEAR! Again It wont let me login!

What would be the shocked genius guy will do? Now I'm prepared for the battle, as I have a lots of backup!,,but can you guess the current status? I need to write my first post in the WHMCS Forum and ask for any help as I'm not surrendering this fight!

 

SAGA2: I fight with all my might and preparations, I restored all my backup and to No Avail and even end up with my Hosting Provider restore ALL my Account using the Full backup I had-this was my last resort, but still the same issues I'm facing now, Again I repeat all the above actions to solve issues like this in my local issues but still did not solve it, again WHMCS Admin site is accessible via proxy,,and can be access with my friends in other country...

 

So I guess, maybe I need to continue my SSL Application? but I want to ask help first in this forum as maybe someone have any ideas with this LOCAL ISSUES the WHMCS Support cannot help me about. I don't know what might be this local issues why it does not allow me log inside the Admin site.

Sorry it makes this long, but I need to tell all what happens. Hoping to receive feedback/answer from more genius guys in this community.

If it makes you feel any better i have also experianced this issue and am experiancing it on my test site; Very frustrating and a big waste of my time. after reinstalling whmcs the first login works ok, thereafter it fails!
