{$signature} on email templates need to sign from logged in support staff

Hi,

 

I am currently creating some email templates for common tasks we get asked to do, i.e. install a 3rd party piece of software on a customers website.

 

So I have created a mail template and at the bottom put

 

Thanks

{$signature}

 

However when I log in as an administrator and click to send this email template to a user it populates the email with the global signature and not the current logged in signature.

 

Ideally I need this to populate the current logged in signature to show that we have more than just one person working for our hosting company.

I don't think that can be done right now, so you'll have to put in a feature request for this.

We are after this same feature as well. Has a feature request been entered yet?

You should be using pre-defined replies from the support system for this. That will append the user-level signature. Assigning them to global templates doesnt really make sense.
