Importing Existing Client Domains

Hi there

 

I am trying to figure out how to import the existing registered domain to a client profile in whmcs with the creation and recurring renewal dates etc.

 

am i missing on something? I couldn't find this kind of functionality anywhere in whmcs

When I created a domain (from transfer) the dates were actually a bit out - showing today's date rather than the real expiry date that is in a few days. I just went in to the domain admin in WHMCS and changed the dates there. Not sure if that is the exact way it should be done, but seems to have worked for me.

in my case we can not even transfer the domain because they are already registered with directi and same common client account we are using for the automated registrations with WHMCS.

 

For the new customers its not a problem as they will register or transfer the domains to us but what about the existing customer we have and their 100's of domains each.

 

i couldn't find an easy way to import them directly - may be matt and team should develop an import script just like WHM account importing for directi or other registrars so that we can import the domains to existing client profile.
