xperience
We get a lot of payment problems by people putting information in the issue number box when it's not required - despite clear instructions on the order form! Are there in fact any cards still around that need this info? I know Switch is dead now so can we remove the box altogether?
m8internet
Issue number may still used on : Visa Debit Maestro Debit Solo However, most issuers in UK ceased this from 2010 An example is RBS which ceased, but NatWest did not With chip and pin it is no longer necessary, so it now forms part of the chip information The issue number is still presented on the bank statements Some American issuers still use Issue Number Edited January 26, 2011 by m8internet
