5wayshost
Well, I believe I have the best ordering system in world. But wheres all the customers now? Any ideas on how to make the site search engine friendly? I have robot.txt, add meta tags in header.tpl and submitted to google. Is there much more to do besides advertising?
MACscr
meta tags are basically worthless these days. Content is king. I highly recommend using tableless/css designed pages and really readup on the proper use of title tags (h1, h2, h3, etc.). Here is a great conversation between a few of my dev friends and myself: http://www.invalidresponse.com/module-element-view_topic-topic_id-180.html I would recommend that you validate your designs as well. You cant expect to get to many customers just off search engines though. Word of mouth will get you a lot farther. Also, you basically dont even have a site, your only have a client/order area. You do not explain your services or why someone should even host with you. You basically just say, here are our packages, order now. You also have a pagerank of 0, which means that really no one is linking to you.
5wayshost
I guess a good start is too half the main image size from 37kb to 13kb without quality loss. Thanks for your comments sir.
