wilsonsheldon
Hi everyone, Newbie to WHMCS here. I'm attempting to import my invoices from my previous system directly into the database using phpMyAdmin. Everything appears to have imported fine, but I wasn't able to pull in any of the invoice items or transactions, just the totals. 1. Are the invoice items or transactions required? I noticed the summary still says $0 earned. Perhaps, that's fed from the transactions? 2. For partially paid invoices, what's the difference between adding a credit to an invoice and adding a payment? I tried both, but for each one, the total due on the invoice still says the same amount. And in the invoice summary, it has the correct adjusted amount. Thanks for any tips. And any advice on whether I should abandon now before I get too far into it. Best, Wilson

Best, Wilson The income is determined from the transactions. For money received or refunded, you need to add a transaction corresponding to the invoice. When you add transactions for partial amounts of the invoice, you will see the balance due change. BTW - There are some import scripts available here in your Client Area. Not sure if one exists for your previous system.
