ServWise.com
I'm getting the following error when attempting to buy a rapidssl certificate today. Module Command Error Invalid Product Type It has been working for ages (just yesterday one was purchased) and the only thing I have done recently is change the pricing on that certificate which AFAICT should not cause a problem. I haven't tried buying other ssl's so don't know if it is all ssls or just the rapidssl. Has maybe ENOM changed the product name? I am running WHMCS Version: 4.2.1
ServWise.com
I wanted to say, I just changed this customers SSL order to a Comodo Essential and that one went through fine so it looks like it is only RapidSSL that is failing.
scurrell
It may or may not be significant, but the issuing organisation for RapidSSL seems to have changed from "Equifax" to "RapidSSL" - I get an invalid certificate error after installing a renewal. Nothing to do with WHMCS though, I hasten to add.
ServWise.com
Just to confirm this was not a one off, just had another RapidSSL order failing with the same error. Can anyone else confirm this issue or is it just us?
ServWise.com
Okay I have worked out what the problem is. This must have changed in WHMCS at some point (And may be fixed is newer versions) but the SSL Certificate Type setting which sets the DB configoption3 in tblproducts was set to "Certificate-RapidSSL" and the ENOM API says it should be "Certificate-RapidSSL-RapidSSL. Changing the value to this manually in the DB and then processing the ssl allowed the order to go through. I then tested it by re-saving the rapidssl product in whmcs and again it was set back to just "Certificate-RapidSSL". Since this value is encoded it must be a bug. I recently updated the SSL list using an encrypted file provided by WHMCS to allow us to offer the comodo ssls, I suspect it is this file that is wrong.
