What's the best way to accept credit card over the phone?

We all have clients that call us wanting to give us their credit card over the phone. My previous billing software I was able to select pay invoice and open a Virtual Terminal that worked with my Authorize.net account. I don't see a virtual terminal in WHMCS so I guess I will have to be more creative.

 

I am assuming the best way is to become user from the admin panel and pay their invoice as if you where that user?

 

That option will work but is that the best route?

 

By the way I have Authorize.net CIM as my gateway.
