email headers remove this?

Hey guys I have a reseller account with hostgator

when whmcs sends email to my client in the header every body can see hostgator email server

I need to remove that header

I found this

but do not know how to do it in whmcs

Perhaps you can setup another SMTP server. You may try creating a GMAIL account and plugin your SMTP settings. It's not a fix but an alternative.

Can I use googleaps? Do I need to make a lot of changes in my whmcs if I use google aps?

You can use Google Apps. You just need an Gmail account. Once you have a Gmail account you can setup SMTP in WHMCS. (Admin - Setup - General Settings - Mail. Change Mail Type to SMTP). Plug in your SMTP settings from your new GMAIL account http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13287 and you should be good to go. Send some test emails.

 

The email Header at this point will most likely show Gmail's mail server. Like I said this is an alternative not a fix. I don't have this setup but it should work for you.
